Product Description
This necklace has been made using an Irish Twenty Pence. This coins design is an Irish Sport horse.
The coin has been cut out by hand using a jewellers saw. A link has then been silver soldered to the top of a coin. The pendant is polished and then gold plated/silver plated.
The necklace is presented in a stylish box with a certificate of authenticity.

I have bought two cut-out pendants in silver for presents for Christmas this year. The horse and the hare. I have only seen the horse which I have gifted early to a close friend who is very horsey and, like me, Irish. She loved it. The hare was sent to the recipient directly. I know she will love it.
The genius of the original coin design is emphasised and enhanced by the removal of the background whilst retaining the perfectly proportioned aesthetic of the original coin.
I couldn't be happier. In the New Year I will be ordering the horse, hare, and hound, all in silver on a single chain, for myself. This is my trinity of special animals.
