Product Description
This tie pin has been made using a George VI Sixpence. The coins from 1937-1946 were 50% silver but switched to nickel in 1947 due to an increase in silver prices.
The coin has had the pin silver soldered directly onto the back, this ensures that they do not break apart. The coin is then polished and plated. The details are hand enamelled and finally encased with a clear resin.
The tie pin is presented in a stylish box with a certificate of authenticity.
