Wren Farthing Cut Out Necklace - with Rope Edge
This necklace has been made using a Farthing. This coins design focuses on the well know British bird, the Wren. Although the coin was in circulation from 1937-1956, the year has been removed.
The coin has been cut out by hand using a jewellers saw. The rope edge is hand twisted copper wire which has been soldered to the outer rim of the coin. A link has then been silver soldered to the top of a coin. The pendant is polished and then gold plated, Click here to see the complete process of one of our necklaces being made.
The necklace is presented in a stylish box with a certificate of authenticity.
